Michaela and Kaitlyn. This is her friend who helped her try out for softball and then she broke her back skiing. She is the manager of the team and a very good friend to Michaela.
Michaela and the girls, full view. They all got ready at Kaitlyn's. Her sister was the stylist. Michaela's friends helped doll her up and get the pretty shoes and earrings (all free). By the way, Michaela's dress cost $7.00 from Ross. Another great deal found by Michelle.
Michaela and her mom. Notice how tall Michaela is.
Michaela and Uncle John
Michaela and her friends, JaTaya, Miranda and Kaitlyn. Miranda did all the girls hair and she is quite good at this.
Michaela and Koltin
Okay, first Michaela came to me and said that she got asked to a dance by a boy and this has happened many times but she has always said no because she is not 16 years old yet. This time, She came to me and was persistent and said it was a fundraiser and a big group was going together but it was a boy ask girl dance because that's how they could earn the money. So I broke and she went to her first dance with a friend of hers, Koltin McKee who is in our stake. All proceeds for the dance and some other activities will go to this little boy in our area who is struggling with his heart. They are helping with medical expenses and other open heart surgery's he will have later in life. He is only 4 and has already had 5+ surgeries.

pretty! i didn't even think about her not being 16 when i saw these pictures. oh well! that's why i'm kind of glad joss doesn't have a summer birthday...she will be 16 for half of that year!
like the heels. did she walk well in them? i would have fallen for sure!
jody
Jody you can walk in heels... now you know I would have fallen in them. I did learn that the trick to walking in high heels though is to walk toe to heel like jogging. You would think I could handle that. She looks so lovely. Love the post. Love, Mom
