Michaela's window shopping

Not much has been happening at the Figueroa's home. We are busy like normal going to school, reading, playing the piano, practicing the piano, going to soccer games, volunteering at the school, scouts, young women's, yard work, and watching out the front windows......etc.
At our home, we don't have a front room front window. We have two windows in the front but they are the bedroom windows. Anyway.... Michaela loves the computer and was typing on the computer and doing some yearbook homework. She had a feeling to look out the window. She turned the blinds to look out. As she was watching out the window she noticed a young man at Jen and Juan's door, our neighbors. Jen answered and sent the boy away. While he was getting ready to leave he went in their garage and took a bag out of it and went on his way. Michaela thought it was strange and came and told me. She said ,"should I go ask Jen if he was suppose to take the bag?" "I think he just stole it." I said, "Yah go run and see." I was hesitant though. She ran over and asked and sure enough he had stole the bag. Michaela was gone for a bit and Her and Jen chased done the young man and called the police. I guess he had stole other objects from other houses and the police took it from there. Michaela hasn't seen the kid at school since and worried what happened to him. We tell her he is okay and will be at school or is in jouvenial detention. She was just a watcher and cared enough to keep an eye on the neighborhood for us. I guess it pays to be nosey and a watcher out the window everyonce in a while. Michaela's good deed. We sure love her

Michaela was doing what they call in Pocatello "Neighborhood Watch". Good call for Michaela. I am proud that she is my granddaughter. Love, Grandma
