Carlos's 8th Birthday Party!!!

My baby is 8 years old. WOW!!! How time flies. Carlos didn't want a cake this year he wanted cream cheese filled cupcakes. Guess what, I made them all by myself and they were good. I did however buy spray frosting to frost the top so it would look a bit fancy.
Carlos and his buddies eating and enjoying the food.

Carlos opening some of his gifts. He is still pretty easy to buy for although his taste is getting a little bit more expensive.

Carlos has been asking for a dump truck that can dump sand for quite some time and finally we decided and found an automatic dump truck.

Carlos trying to blow out all his candles. It was a little difficult because the candles were not altogether. He slowly blew them all out. He had a great day and we actually this year had his birthday on his birthday. A fun day in all.
On Febrary 5th, Carlos will also become a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints by getting baptized. He is so excited to start scouts and be with his best friend Kaleb.

Carson is a First Class Scout

If you know Carson he loves scouts. He loves his leaders and wants to be an eagle scout like his dad. Here he is receiving his second class and first class patches at a Court of Honor. He worked very hard and was glad to finally receive the patch for his shirt.

Carson's great leader. She is amazing and loves scouting herself. She works very hard and is even more busier than I am. She goes to school, works at Franklin Middle school, has a husband in the bishopric, and is a mom on the side. She is great. Thank you Sister Matthews.

Carson with his new patches. This weekend he is also starting a merit badge clinic where he will work on 6 badges over the next 3 weeks. Wow a busy scout but loving everything.

Fun pics with kids/ Carlos Baptism photo shoot

Fun pictures I took because I wanted to get a nice picture of Carlos to put on his baptism invitations to family and friends. Aren't they picture perfect. Thanks to Jody who started me off on the right foot and took millions of pictures of Michaela as a baby. We continue the tradition of pictures every year.

Michaela in a solo picture in front of out "holly" bush. Notice the snow. It had just snowed that weekend.

All three again being themselves. They are being very cooperative.

One picture of Carlos and I used this for his invitations. Just cropped and added a few adjustments and Wow. Nice invitations soon to receive by us in a couple days.

Carson in his Sunday best. He has been growing and these are a few new clothes he has received. Thank you grandma.

All three being silly and loving taking the pictures. They even picked the spots to be shot in front of.

Carson and his funny self. He is quite the character. He can be serious like his grandpa but silly like his grandma. A great combination, I must say. I love his attitude and his love for scouts, church, sports, and life.
