Debi, Loni, and Ada Visit us in Idaho/ Pioneer Day Celebration

Our visit with Debi started out with a visit to our local Wendy's restaurant. We had lunch and then spent the rest of the day together and the rest of the weekend.
This is Ada begging for more Frosty. She loved it and it was a big treat for her.

Grandma and Grandpa asked Debi, Loni, Ada, Michaela, Carson, and Carlos if they would like to be in the Parade again. Of course they said yes and had a blast throwing candy to everyone especially people they knew.

After the parade, Grandma had volunteered to work at the snow cone shack and her helper from church bailed so all the grand kids decided to pitch in and help plus get free snow cones. Our neighbor Austin was great help too. He helped dump the ice and grind it up.

Here Michaela is getting ready to put some flavoring on the snow cone. She had a blast working with all the boys in grandmas ward. They are really neat boys. Too bad they are all going to Pocatello High School.

Carson helping get ice into the snow cone machine. The ice is so important and he was a great help. He also had so much fun doing something so important.

Loni and Carlos taking a breather. They were busy putting flavor and handing the snow cones to people. They got tired and wanted to enjoy their own snow cone.

Loni petting a goat at the petting zoo. She loved walking among the animals.

Sean, Jake, and Whitney eating at the barbecue Grandma had to get us all together. It was fun but we didn't get to see Nick, Tony, or Joe. What a bummer.

Ada eating a Popsicle. She loved it and she sure loves her Mommy. I guess you soak it all up now because one day she may not love her Mommy so much.

Ada drinking every tiny drop of Popsicle. She didn't want to waste anything. This is the first part of Debi's visit. We get her back again in August and we will have a birthday party For Loni and then say goodbye on August 11. Oh by the way Debi is 6 months pregnant and the baby is due October 30. It's a boy too. Yeah!!!! Another boy to help them catch up with the girl cousins. Carson and Carlos are out numbered 4 to 2.

Fishing with the BOYS!!!

Here we have Carson with his FIRST (on his own) catch... Can't you tell by the HUGE smile???
Check Carlos out!!! He seems quite happy to have reeled one in too.

WOW!!! Who caught that big fish? OK, no bragging, Juan caught this one.

After a loooong day of fishing and watching everyone else catch one (or two) Terry finally reeled one in.

After two days of fishing and finally figureing out what we needed to do and use, we came home with 13 fish. Wow, what a fishing trip. We all had a blast.

Girls Camp 2010...Salt Lake City, Utah

Girls Camp 2010 was in Salt Lake City, Utah. We stayed in bunk house cabins and toured as many sights as possible in alt Lake.
The girls on top of the Conference Center. This years camp was spiritual and a great testimony builder of what our Church does.

Michaela at the pool soaking her feet. She didn't get all the way in because we were going to the Joseph Smith Movie at 7:30 pm.

Michaela in front of the Salt Lake City Temple. Isn't it a great picture. What a beautiful sight.

Michaela, Allysa, and Emily A at the end of the microfilm at the Family History Library. So much to offer and not enough time.

Michaela, Allysa, and Madison in front of George Albert Smiths grave. We visited all the graves of the Prophets and a few other important graves.

At the middle of Ensign Peak. Not all the girls are pictured because they were tired from the Cemetery hike and were resting. It was beautiful from here though.

The girls relaxing and playing after Hike day and enjoying the pool on this Hot Hot day.

Michaela playing a Minute to Win it game. We played Minute to win it to certify the girls at camp. It was fun and great to watch the girls relax and be funny.

The girls trying to draw cloud, animals, fish etc for certifying purposes but with their teeth and feet only.

Jen Barlow's car all saran wrapped up. The girls had a blast and so did Jen.

Michaela and Allysa drew on themselves to blame others for all the toilet papering and saran wrapping going on.

Welfare Square. So much is done and what a blessing it is to know we help a billion people all over the world for free.

Missionaries making bread and not just one or two loaves but millions of loaves.

All but Jen and Carin in front of the Christus. A very spiritual and fun scavenger hunt along with God's Family Plan movie.

Everyone in front of the Administration building hoping to see President Monson.

These few girls had a blast toilet papering the men's cabin. It's a secret, Don't tell!

Danielle, Michaela, and Allysa were great fun. They loved the "Parent Trap" camp as you can see.

All the girls on the last day and posing for a great End of Camp Picture.

All the Leaders who joined us at Girls Camp 2010.

MIchaela @ Pocatello Fast pitch Softball

Michaela is playing short stop in this picture and has played second base and third base also. This year she hasn't played as catcher much but has enjoyed playing and having Juan be a coach.

Michaela was determined to hit the ball in the second game of a double header. The pitcher walked her in the earlier game and as you can see, Michaela is about on her knees for this hit but it went right over second base for a great hit.

The boys huddled together after we had a mega wind storm. The winds got as high as 40 miles per hour and dust was everywhere.

Michaela has been playing many positions this year in Pocatello because they have a whole new team and she can play almost anywhere except pitcher. Michaela is on 3rd base in this picture.
