Youth Conference 2009

Michaela getting warmed up after floating the river by a hot springs in Lava.
Michaela and Allysa listening some what at the Bishop's spiritual thought after our hike to the "L" in Lava.

Michaela and Allysa mowing the lawn during the devotional on Friday. Keeping themselves busy. T-Paul Davids gave the devotional and he did a great job.
The kids that followed me to the top of the mountain past the "L" in Lava. What a view it had. We could see four valleys. WOW!!!
Michaela and Allysa were the only two girls who willingly went and got water for our group. The tub was quite heavy. The boys never wanted to help.

Michaela, Allysa, and Holly in the Portneuf river after they flipped their tube by the waterfall. They had a blast and were the first to try the water fall and keep going down it. 4 boys tried it once and that was it for them. What awesome girls we have.

Michaela, Allysa, and Holly smiling big after a trip down the river for the first time.

Michaela, Allysa, and Holly going down the waterfall. They did not flip this time down.

Here is the "L" on the mountain in lava. Some only went to the "L" as planned and a few of us pasted the "L" and went a little higher (we went to the top above the "L"). In all this was a great trip. I learned a ton and loved being with Michaela, yet letting her be her social self with her friends. I love you Michaela and I enjoyed watching you with your friends.

A Season end a Season begins

Carlos in his T-Ball shirt at his first game. I don't know what he is doing with his hands?
Carlos up to bat. What a great hit.
Carson in his new baseball shirt. He is so excited to get this started.

Carson waiting for a hit so he can try to get Cole out on 1st. The batter struck out so Cole stayed on 1st for one more batter.
Michaela getting a goodbye talk from her coach and getting their pictures. She really enjoyed this team even though they didn't win many.

Michaela's first year of being catcher. She enjoyed this position and played all but the first game as catcher. Her coach wants her to be on their traveling team because she could catch the pitchers 55 miles and hour throws. Wow!!!. Like mother like daughter.

Yes it snows in June!!!! and RAINNNNNNNNNNNNSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!
Carlos and Michaela with a bunch of Carson's soccer buddies and family. They aren't having any fun?

Carson in action at one of his games. They did great and had a fun time even if it rained the whole trip.

Carson with his some what warm gear on for the start of the last game. And yes, it was raining.

A new Family picture at Jackson Hole, WY under the so famous antler arches.

The winning team....from Pocatello, Idaho, with a couple shutouts and a huge score of 10-1 in the last game. That never happens in soccer. They were so pumped and played like a team and had a great time.

Carson Caught A FISH!!!!!!!

Carson loves to fish but seems to have the worst luck. The fish don't bite his hook, ever. That all changed though on Thursday. He caught two fish and had a blast with his dad. They were pretty excited and He isn't bad luck anymore!!!
