Carson for his first day of 8th grade.
Michaela for her first day as a Junior in high school and Her birthday photo. She is officially 16 today! What a way to start school.
Carson and Carlos. Michaela isn't pictured because she has early morning and the boys weren't up yet then at 6:50 am when she left.Sorry about these two photo's. Can't get the computer to turn them for some reason.
Carlos at the "spot" for a traditional picture.
Carlos with his new teacher, Mrs. Hymas and a student teacher from ISU. All three of my children have had Mrs. Hymas and had a great time. I can't believe how grown up all the kids are. I too started my new job at Wilcox and started at ISU, August 27. We are busy but having a great time.

Carlos and his Cabbage

Carlos has been growing a cabbage for a contest and this is his cabbage right before we harvest it. It is humongous. That is a tennis ball in the center so you can see how BIG it actually is.
Carlos cabbage weighed 28.9 pounds.
Carlos next to his cabbage.
Carlos holding his cabbage. It had a few bugs and Carlos wasn't that excited to hold it. Can you see how massive it really is. WOW!!!!

FUN AT LAVA!!!

Sorry for the sideways pictures. I can't figure out how to change them. They are not this way in my file. They were flipped on their own?
Carlos enjoying Lava. This was one of his many things he wanted to do for Summer. I think we accomplished his check off list this summer. YEAH!
Brayden climbing the rock wall at Lava. This was his first time to Lava.
Loni climbing the Rock Wall. This side was easier for us but everyone told us this was the hardest side.
Carson jumping off the diving board.
Brayden going down one of the slides for the first time ever.
Carson going off the slide finally after Ashton convinced him.
Carlos finishing the slide. Grandma took more pictures than I did so I will have to copy and paste more when we get them from her blog.

Loni going off the slide. She was nervous but Juan convinced her she could do it.

Juan's new Toy

Juan and his brand new truck. He has been wanting one for awhile and my cousin John Lee gave him a deal he couldn't refuse.
Juan smiling in is new toy. Now the only problem is we need a new house to fit the truck. It is longer than the Yukon was. Now we are thinking of putting the house on the market.

A change in scenery

Juan has been bugging me to get my hair cut. I always put it in a ponytail because it is fast and easy. I like fast because I don't have to worry and I can be ready in less than a half hour. I finally was brave enough to go get it cut. Here are my befores and afters......

BEFORE..... Front view. Notice how long it is.
BEFORE.....Back view. It is very wavy. I never see this but it is actually pretty.
AFTER....A little too short for me but it will grow to where I wanted my hair to be. It was this short because I had enough to donate to the Locks Of Love. My haircut was also free.
AFTER....Back view. It is a layered haircut which makes my hair feel even shorter but it does feel quite light in weight and It will grow on me. Here is the picture of what I wanted my hair to look like. I just have to actually do my hair now to look like this.

We will see how fast my hair grows and how much I actually do my hair.
NO MORE PONYTAILS FOR AWHILE....AAAHHHH!

Bowling

I found three pictures that I took when we went bowling. I wish I would of taken more but at least I have proof Loni and Carlos went bowling. And guess what......I found more pictures. My camera dies so I used my phone. The pictures aren't the best but I'll add them in a little.

Carlos bowling, He did pretty well too. He had a little help but didn't use the bumper pads much. The bowling ball did hit them much either.
Loni bowling. It was a little tougher but she stayed right with Carlos. Her and Carlos scored pretty well.

Fun With Loni!!!

Loni came to Idaho for the summer to raise a calf and visit. She arrived in Early June but she didn't join us till the end of July. We have been busy ever since she came to Pocatello. First we went to Ross Park, then to ice cream (Farrs 2 times, Kiwi Loco, and out to eat), Camping at Indian Springs, and bowling at Tough Guy lanes. Sorry no pictures at tough guy or of us eating ice cream, I forgot. Enjoy the pics I do have though.

Loni coming out of the tube for the first time. She was thrown around a bit and wasn't sure she wanted to go again but Aunty Michelle told her how to handle the slide and she went again and again and again. Us little kids have to figure out creative ways to stay afloat.

 Carlos in the Lazy river.
 Loni in the Lazy river.
Carson in the Lazy river. Carson is also in this funky stage of funny not smiling face. He sure will hate these when he gets older. But at least we try to get a picture of him for proof he was with us.
Our camping set-up at Indian Springs. I know we are really roughing it. Grandpas on the right and ours on the left.
The boys playing wuffleball. All the boys were doing one thing while the girls were doing another.
Carson being the pitcher for the wuffleball game.
 Carlos batting.
The girls playing kickball and they also played red rover.
Carlos up in the tall tree. I was amazed he climbed this tree. He has an issue with heights but he loves to climb.
Here he is almost going to swing off the rope...... BUT..... the height issue kicked in. He was proud to look like he was going to swing off.
The kids playing volleyball with a great woman in the ward. She is so neat. Her name is Maria Bott. She loves kids and you can tell.
maria and another mom playing kickball until we could go swim. I also played but had to take pictures too.
Swimming at Indian springs. Juan took these since grandma, grandpa, and him didn't come swim with us.
Loni swimming with a noodle. We were having races and you could only use your legs. It was hard but we had fun with the races.
Carlos swimming with the board. He could only kick and not use arms. We got worked out with just using our legs. You don't realize how mush your arms help out.
Carson getting ready to go down the slide with Carlos right behind.
Another great picture of Carson and his funky face. This is the best we ever get right now. I thought the no pictures for a bit would go away but it comes right back with teenagers. Michaela wasn't with us as she was at Bear Lake with a friend. She however joined in at ice cream and bowling. Teenagers are hard to keep home, especially when they have their own license and wheels to drive them where ever they want to go.
