Let it Snow, Let it Snow!!!!

Michaela took this picture of the Lilac bush in our front yard during the snow storm we received yesterday.
Take a close LOOK. Carlos and his little snow man. His dad and Carson came out later to help him build a real snowman. Scroll down and see how great they did.

Carlos throwing snow up in the air. I thought this was a great picture and he reminds me so much of Michaela at this age. He wanted to go right out side and play in the snow and he wanted to shovel all the snow.

As Carlos was shoveling the snow it was getting covered back up. It let up and then the BIG flakes hit. It was so pretty.

Aren't all the flakes amazing. They were falling as big as snowballs. They were not heavy but you could almost throw them as they landed in your hand.

Carlos and his castle getting ready to have a snowball fight with Carson.

Carson and Carlos at their castles ready for a snow ball fight. I loved watching these two. They stayed our for more than 2 hours and had a blast!

Carlos and trying to make the BIG snowman Carson and Juan help build. They were having so much fun. I took these pictures from inside and they turned out great.

Carson and Juan getting ready to put the tummy on their snowman. Notice my rose bushes and the height of the snow.

Their finished product. Notice it is taller than both of them. They had so much fun and stayed out even after this was made and played at their snow castles.

Carson an 11 year old Scout

Carson has been working very hard to get his Tenderfoot, second class, and First class done before he turns twelve years old. He was just lacking his swimming and on November 13th his scout troop went to Blackfoot and asked if I would go along and help clear the pool as the boys took their BSA test.
Carson had to swim 100 feet, swim another 25 feet doing certain strokes, rescue a drowning victim, and demonstrate how to save people. There is more but I can't remember them all. Here he is swimming the 25 ft. swim.

Carlos came with us to Blackfoot because he wanted to swim too. Carson was great to play with him for a bit after he passed his test.

Carson posing for me in his uniform. He will get three patches at a Court of Honor (the dates have not been set yet). We are hoping it will be around Christmas so some of his aunts and uncles will be here to see it. I'm proud of Carson and his love for scouting. He does this on his own, of course I let him know how important it is and remind him of his scout meetings.
