Going to Dietrich to watch Loni in 4 H

Loni and Carlos before the competition and Carlos getting to see her cows Milkshake, Cookie, and I can't remember the last cow.

Taking a break and looking at all the little cows that will be showing.

Loni waiting to have her cow looked at and judged by the fair judges.

Loni walking he cow and working so hard to be the leader and show her cow.

Carlos with Loni at one of the Fairs Loni was competing at for 4H. They are with their little cows Loni's Grandpa Wally bought them. Loni did quite well at the fairs this year. I know she took a few 2nd places, 3rd places, and I heard a few 1st in best overall. She beat some 14 year olds and they were calling her the cow whisperer. Its a cute name for Loni especially when you see that she is only 3 foot 11 or so.

Blackrock Curse comes to the end of a GREAT Season/Party!!!!

BLACKROCK CURSE. A team that has it all and more!!!

The girls just arriving and talking and having a great time out of uniform. This was my first BIG party that I ever put on and I must say, it was fun but I know why I have only done it once.

The team watching the Slide show we put on. It wasn't dark enough for our projector idea so we ran it on the lap top. It went well too.

Joss loves to dance and was dancing with Carlos as soon as some great music came on. It was a riot.

Softball Revive @ 5 setup

Of course after a hot day in the sun setting up for this great party we have made a tradition to go to Sonic Happy hour between 2-4pm for 1/2 price slushes. Its great and we all get cooled off and enjoy time together.

Carlos is the photographer during setup so we can document our day. He does a great job and also helps set up cones, garbage's, and the turtles for the event.

Here Michaela is with some of the girls working on closing the streets of old Town Pocatello around the Party site.

The whole summer the Blackrock teams have the opportunity to do service and earn money for their team by setting up everything for a big midweek party, Revive @ 5. It has been a good fundraiser but hard work and we always set up in the middle of the day, at 1:30 to 3pm. HOT!!

Summer Pack meeting

Getting the best treat during the summer, ice cream sandwiches. Carlos even got two. That lucky duck.

Carlos going through the course and doing quite well. They used turn signals and fast stopping and learned proper use of helmet and keeping your bike in tip top shape.

Carlos received a patch for day camp. He is pretty excited about scouts and rarely misses any meetings.

This year one of Carlos's pack meetings for scouts was to have a Bike Rodeo. This was a fun event and the scouts learned the rules of riding a bike on the roads.

Flag Football comes to a close

Carlos receiving his trophy and pictures at his last game of the season. It was great and Carlos loved his team and just learning a new sport which he picked up very fast.

Carlos's team. They were the Cowboys which is Juan's favorite team. It was a great season and they only lost 1 game. Pretty smart boys and athletic too. Of course they are all only 8 years old.

Carlos running a great play in his game. He was very fast and one of the favorite's on the team. He understand football and is pretty quick on his feet.

Carson was "excited" to have his turn at the down pole too. Can you tell how excited he is?

Football is a family affair also. Michaela was drafted to help hold the down pole. It wasn't light either.

Carlos warming up before a game. He loved football and He has chosen to stay with football instead of soccer. We will have one kid in soccer, one in football, and one in fast pitch softball. We wont be busy at all, RIGHT?

Carson to SCOUT CAMP for 1 WHOLE WEEK

Carson in his tent that he shared with one other boy. It was roomy and spacious and I heard they played lots of card games and their tent was the hot spot to be. Can you see 10 other boys in this tent and imagine the smell. arson showered but wore some items all week long.

This was Carson's favorite merit badge that he earned. He loved repelling and climbing.

Here Carson is almost to the bottom of the tall wall. I can't remember how high he told me It was but it looks pretty tall to me.

Carson and one of his buddies trying to start a fire with just a magnifying glass. If you look close one of theirs already has some smoke. This was a long week for me but a very fun and enjoyable week for Carson. He is a Star in the Boy Scout program already and in 6 months he could be a Life Scout then 6 months later he could be and Eagle. That is the plan for right now but I do know getting the Eagle project takes a bit more effort. Carson is determined to be and Eagle Scout like his dad and scouting is one of Carson love in life, especially the fun outdoors stuff like, shooting.

TOURNAMENTS AND MORE TOURNAMENTS

Michaela sure enjoys this Black rock team. She is debating whether to transfer to Century to play softball or not. She would love to play a sport for a highschool team. we will see what she decides.

They were dirty and black nut had a great time.

The boys had their own fun with old tires at the skate park right behind the fields.

Cheering together as a team. Lets get some BATTS!!!

Michaela running to get a ground ball.

Carson and Carlos enjoying some seeds as we watch Michaela play some softball.

Shayla pitching a great game for us. She is a great pitcher and leader. She helped our team on many games but was on the 16's team.

Bear Lake was suppose to be one of the funnest tournaments. It was fun but I must say that winning or taking a place makes the tournament evern funnier.

Michaela being ready incase taylor the catcher was going to try to get the runner on 2.

I have no idea what they are checking out but maybe this is when her sock was falling down???

Chubbuck Tournament was a great tournamtent. We are playing better together but summer is hard to have a consistant number of girls show up for practice. Can't have a good practice with just 4 girls. I didn't take many pictures of this tournament but it was a fun one.

Running home to score. Michaela had a great record of getting on base whether it be by walks or hitting she was consistant at getting on base a helping the blackrock team break "first blood" at scoring.

Juan helping out at the tournament running the scoreboard that was broken and didn't eve show the right score until he figured out a way for the innings and outs to equal the score. Pretty creative i thought.

I love this picture of Michaela consentrating on catching this ball. She did catch it and was a very great 2nd baseplayer!

Michaela trying to keep from getting hit by a ball. Like the bumn sticking out?

Michaela and Kaitlyn being silly with their fake mustaches. These two were great and kept the team happy.

Idaho Falls Tournament the girls played well but they fell short in placing. They are getting better and better yet need that extra boost to finish the game.

Michaela talking to her coach. Asking some question. I love her hands and Lisa listening.

Michaela running the bases. She is great at this and has quite the speed.

Michaela bunting. She had several awesome bunts but one was so perfect that it just dropped right infront of the plate. Fair and Michaela was safe too.

The Blackrock Curse (Pocatello/Century team)beat the Diamond Queens(composed of mainly Highland girls) a very happy day for them all.

Michaela being ready on the field. She is playing right field where many girls can't hit at this competitve league.

Michaela catching a popfly. Love that form.

Blackrock took 2nd Place at the Sandlot tournament. Way to go girls. The team has come a long way and proved they can do anything.

POCATELLO SHOOTOUT TOURNAMENT

Another at batt for Michaela. She has really improved her batting. She got on almost every at batt. Of course you have those days when you still stike out. Don't we all have thosedays. We need redo days.

Michaela at bat. Do you think this was a ball? I hope so.

Michaela being a kid and running through the sprinklers between games. It was hot and even hotter on the field.

Michaela playing in the field. She had a great time and loved this team.

Michaela receiving her 2nd place medal.

Blackrock Curse took 2nd place at the Pocatello Shootout Tournament. It was a great season.
