Halloween part 2

I have always wanted to go to the corn maze in Shelly Idaho and decided this year I was going with or with out anyone. The kids decided to go and here are a few pictures.
The kids started out working together and following the map but as time went on and 2 1/2 hours later we just wanted to find our way out of the maze.

We all made it out of the maze and found out who kidnapped the farmer. It was fun and yes we were all hungry and ready to go home. The kids were ready to get dressed and go trick or treating and to parties with their friends. Our night was fun.

Carlos dressed up as Erkel this year. You know the funny guy from Family Matters from the 90's. He did a great job and his costume cost me all about .80 cents.

Michaela dressed up this year. She is "batman".I was so excited that a high schooler dressed up and had a lot of fun. It seems you go through that rough middle school year where everyone thinks they are too cool and then you go to high school and you just want tot have fun. At least that's what I am noticing with Michaela. She even dresses up in black, white and red for every Highland football game. She loves High school and has many friends.

Carson was a great army guy. I found these at Wal-mart and he had a great time being the older brother taking Carlos trick or treating. I was grateful for him. Having your children far apart can be a disadvantage when it comes to trick or treating because everyone gets invited to parties as they get older. Thank you Carson for being the great big brother you are.

All three of our great children. Michaela is about to get a great catch. They all had a blast as you will see next.

Carson and Carlos at our old ward trunk or treat. They had fun and then we were off to our friend's, the Eborns to trick or treat there.

Michaela with Camryn before she left for her party. Camryn is a little girl in the neighborhood whom Michaela LOVES to babysit.

Carson's finished and lit JACK-O-LANTERN. Isn't it great.

Both Michaela and Carlos's JACK-O-LANTERNS. They all had a great time carving pumpkins. We had fun all day.

The kids hit the jackpot with candy. Carlos is dividing up the candy he likes or doesn't want.

Carson being pooped. Some of the candy he got and he too divided it up into like and dislike pile. This year Carson wanted to go to the Haunted forest but maybe next year. We have been before and it is a worth while haunted place to be on Halloween. I hope you all had a great Halloween and hope to see you back here next year.

Halloween Part 1

First off, I got to go to Ellis and be with Carlos at his Halloween party. He loves school and being silly with his classmates. Here they are getting ready to decorate cupcakes a mom made.
Carlos getting ready to eat a bat donut. He received tons of candy and hadn't even trick or treated yet.

Carlos and a buddy, Logan, posing for a great Halloween picture for me. They are such good sports at this age.

The pumpkins before they become Jack-O-Lanterns. Notice the green one still. They were a perfect size for each kid. Can you guess who picked which one?

Michaela, Carlos, and Carson carving the tops of their soon to be Jack-O-Lanterns.

Carson almost had a built in idea with this great dent in his pumpkin.

Carlos concentrating on what he will do with his pumpkin.

Michaela had a creative idea for her pumpkin. She is always so talented when it comes to these type of things.

Michaela with her finished Jack-o-Lantern. Also notice what she was for Halloween in Halloween part 2 post.

Carson and his finished pumpkin. Notice the great lite pumpkin in Halloween post #2.

Carlos and his Jack-O-Lantern.

Michaela's lite and so spooky.

Caron's and Carlos's lit and notice the great fork in Carsons's pumpkin.

Our last soccer tournament before winter hits.

This was a great sign at the Simplot soccer complex in Boise. I thought who in there right mind would take a llama to a park? The simple things that make us laugh. It's just great!!!!
The pool and movie screen at the hotel we stayed at in Boise. It was cheaper to stay in a hotel instead of our camper this trip. We had fun. The kids love the hotel stuff.

Carlos and Carson played in this little kiddy pool and had a blast. Michaela took pictures while I was working out in the exercise room. She was great help and had to miss two parties to come with us to Carson's soccer tournament. She had fun but missed social hour with friends.

Carson by the goal post blocking a corner kick. He played great and had fun. Soccer is becoming his thing. All year long we eat, drink, walk, sleep, talk soccer.

Carson staying in position and getting ready for a possible chance at scoring. He did not score but he was ready.
Carson in the first game at the tournament. The toughest team. They did loose but had a great time against some great teams. They have a lot to learn still and more skills to develop. Soccer is just a fun activity for Carson and he loves to be outside running. It's good to see him active after all our days in the hospital with him as a little tike. Asthma doesn't hold him back any, anymore.

Carson has braces now too!!!

Carson was so excited to get braces. Of course, his parents weren't that excited to have two children in braces. At least our money is being spent on two great causes, Beauty and handsomeness.
Carson's great mouth shot of his wonderful braces. You can't really see it but his braces are football and soccer. How technology has evolved.

Michaela and Carson sharing in their experience of having braces. Michaela has great sympathy for Carson and they now share something in common and seem to be getting along even better. Why didn't I put braces on them sooner?

New Toys!!!

First, my new toy is a washer and dryer. Juan was complaining that the old washer and dryer we had were no good on the clothes and the agitator was ruining his work shirts so he went out and found the best deals out there. I then went out to look for simple and cheap. We came back with these and then I turn around and sold my old washer and dryer and filed out 2 rebates so the washer and dryer were a steal if washer and dryers can be.
I love white and how clean they look. They take a bit to get used too but they use less water and are very quiet.
Now to Juans new toy. He has wanted this toy every since I can remember. He loves motorcycles and His sale pitch to me was that it is cheaper in gas and he could save money as Michaela is going to take drivers training in the Spring and need a car for driving to and from Highland.

It is a very pretty motorcycle and it is fun to ride on. Michaela had the opportunity to be the first to get a ride and believe it or not, I was the last to get a ride but a long one at that.

Another view of Juan's new toy and for you all to know Juan paid cash for this toy and we owe nobody anything. He has been saving for sometime now. I think with all his jobs and being so willing to take care of us, he does deserve some fun items in life.
