Carlos Awards and Graduation

Carlos had a great 5th grade year. He loved school, his teachers and friends in class. He was quite successful and also was not absent one day. He would do everything to stay healthy because this year they win a bike from Phil Meader Toyota if they miss no days of school.
Carlos did it and will receive his new bike May 27th at a big award recognition for the whole city.

Carlos excited to earn an award.
Carlos receiving the Hope of American Award. I had no idea he was receiving this.
Carlos winning the Presidential Award. We had no idea about this either.
Carlos graduating and being so excited to earn all he did.

These kids were hilarious and fun!
Just the kids who drove together.

Competitve Soccer Season in full swing

Soccer is in full swing. It started way back when but I have been busy with college and work that I haven't had one minute to post anything. Carson LOVES soccer and this season he had a new coach and is playing in a new position. He is thriving and loving every minute.

Carson marking a opponent. This shut the other team down helping our team take 1st place at the Twin Falls Tournament. YEAH!
Carson continued to mark this player through out the whole game. He said it was boring but he controlled the heart of the team and switched position and even scored while marking this player.
 Continuing to babysit.
YEAH! we won 2nd at Idaho Falls tourney.
The Idaho Falls Tourny was played in memory of Carson indoor soccer coach who died unexpectedly right before indoor soccer tournament. DEAN COOK was a great man who knew how to coach and welcome all players to the field.
Carson is getting very good at these headers.
 Running and Running.
 Another awesome header.
Getting control of the ball. This was a hard game and to tell you the truth, I don't remember who won.
Another header. Carson seemed to direct the ball ell and take over 10 headers in one game.
Another header to keep the ball in play. My mom said Carson would peek and she was right. He is starting to have everything fall into place.

Easter/Mother's Day

Michaela wanted us to get pictures of the kids with me. What a great idea. I don't have many pictures of myself and what better day then Mother's Day

 Michaela and I
 Carlos and I
 Carson and I
 All three and me
 Three generations

Easter fell pretty close to mother's Day this year so her are some fun pictures of Easter. The kids added a twist this year. All the adults had to hunt for the Easter eggs outside. The kids were great hiders. The kids found all the money eggs in the house, of course.
 Carlos finding an egg.
 I found and egg.
Grandpa was making a haul. Grandma however couldn't find one. She ended up finding 4 at most.
Grandpa finding one of the last eggs. It was hard for us all but Carson told all the kids to take pictures of where they hid them so them wouldn't forget. A great tradition. We need to have Easter in the summer so we can be with all the grandkids.

Constitution Play

Carlos is soon to be graduating from 5th grade and it is a tradition at Ellis Elementary to put on a play about the Constitution.

 Carlos singing.

PROM 2014

Michaela was asked to Prom by Dillon Chandler. Here is how he asked her.

They had a blast and these are some of the pictures of them at their dinner.
They all can do the splits. WOW!
What a beautiful day and so nice of the Esplins to let the kids crash their home
 All waiting for their meal.
The whole group. Michaela had a blast and they even set up a friend because her date ditched her at the last minute.
The great Mom's who prepared and made their meals
 The pizza making area.
Eating and Dillon is censoring Michaela's see food.
Getting ready to leave for the dance.
 Aren't they gorgeous!
PROM 2014 was a success and soon so will graduation. I can't believe I have a daughter graduating.

Our new Toy/Carson Birthday

Driving home from work one day Juan saw a couple scooters for sale. We thought this would be perfect for Carson to ride to soccer practice during the summer. Also I could ride it to college or Michaela could drive it too. Carson was second to test it out and it is going to be fun when we all go take our motorcycle licensees.

 Carson enjoying the ride
Posing for me to take a picture of the other side of the scooter.
We purchased the motorcycles the day before Carson birthday and here he is so excited to eat his treat.
Making a wish. We still haven't had a party but we will later after all his soccer is done. He could be waiting a bit.

Baseball season at Bat!

Carlos is trying baseball out again this year. He likes being with friends but hates having to practice everyday. Here he is running from second to third. He did make it home to score.

Carlos batting.

Carlos almost getting a hit. He is in a slump and we can not figure it out.
Carlos getting ready to steal third.
