Carlos was so excited to be turning 6 years old. He wanted to open his presents from his grandma and grandpa and us early but I told him he had to wait for his party. We did give in and let him open one on his birthday January 28. He picked out his cake from Costco and invited a few friends to help him celebrate turning 6. He had a simple but perfect day playing and just hanging out with his buddies and us. What small thing make kids happy. It's great.
