Carlos Last Christmas Program at Ellis.
Carlos did so well at singing. He is animated and loves to do well for his teachers. This year was the first year that no Elementary schools had an official music teacher. The district cut that out so the teachers gladly stepped up an took over. It was the best I have heard the kids sing in a long time. They did very well and had lots of vocal talent.
Carlos loved singing "Jingle Bell Rock" especially when they got to wear sunglasses. He is growing up and becoming quite independent. He is a great help and loves Christmas.

They really did sing well. I really like Mr. Obrien but I think the kids responded better for their teachers. The kindergarteners were amazing singers, too. I didn't hear the rest of the groups besides the kindergarteners and Carlos's 5th grade group but those 2 groups definitely sang better than I have ever heard them sing. Probably a blessing in disguise for them to loose their music leader. Love, Mom
