Carson is 11 years old!!!

My Carson is now 11 years old. Wow has time flown that fast. That just means I'm getting that much older. Scary. I wonder what he wished for?
Carson opening some of his gifts from his friends. Thanks to all who came and help us celebrate.

Carson peaking through one of his cards. Is there something in it?........Of course. $$$$$

Carson and some of his buddies coming home from Outer Limits.

Carson playing a shooting game with one of his buddies, Austin.

Carlos getting all the tickets he can. He loves playing games and just having fun.

Carson and Korbin shooting some hoops at Outer Limits Fun zone.
A fun place to have a birthday especially on those cold rainy days. Although Carson's birthday party had perfect weather. We couldn't ask for better. Love you Carson and Happy 11th Birthday!!!!

Soccer season in Full Force!!!

Carlos at one of his soccer games. He enjoys it but I don't think he loves it like Carson. I guess we will have to see as he grows up.

Carlos waiting for a throw in. He sure ran his heart out at soccer.

Carson just finishing kicking the ball at one of his soccer tournaments. They won and he had a fun time. He did a ton at this game and was all over the Field. Busy and tired after.

Carson relaxing on our way home from Twin Falls.

Carson at one of his first soccer games. He is waiting for the kick off. He is fun to watch. Carson is playing competitive soccer. He knows the plays and sees the players before they see their self where they are suppose to be.His brain is moving so fast it's hard to keep up. Something every night. Wow! Could we be busier? Yes, but at least we are not bored. We are busy taking him to soccer and Carlos to soccer.

Easter 2010

Michaela's easter eggs she dyed to be hidden at grandmas the next day.

Carson posing with his Easter eggs. I love this tradition and the kids have so much fun doing it.

Carlos loves to be creative and loves to get pictures taken. They had a blast at grandmas and dyed 60 eggs to be hidden. WOW!!!

Carlos opening his basket on Easter Sunday. The Easter bunny left them outside, I wonder why?....could he have been tired and forgot? He made up for it though.
Carson with one of his baskets and getting all the great candy money, and church activity book, jacket, and did I say candy?

Michaela sporting her new outfit and some "nocandy" items because she is doing the same candy bet her mom did at her age.

Carlos searching for his eggs. New rules for the hunt. You could only get your eggs. If you found someone elses you were to leave it there and search for your own. A great plan and no one faught.

Michaela searching for her eggs. She was a great finder and tried to not say whose egg was whose when she would find it.

Carson searching High, low, and under things. He had a great eye but his were hidden well. He was the one who couldn't find two eggs. Good thing Grandma made a map of every egg hidden so her home would not smell yucky later. Smart Grandma. Can you tell she has had a lot of practice?

The dinner table set so great on Easter Sunday after conference and all the great Easter Bunny celebration we so on Saturday now to keep them separate. My mom's idea again. A great one at that and we can be spiritual one day and fun the others.

SPRING BREAK 2010!!!!

We left for California on a great sunny day. Saturday March 20, 2010
We arrived in LA and went to Juan's aunts home, the beach and the mall and then.......

Carson and Carlos at Redondo Beach in LA, California

Michaela and Allysa at Redondo Beach. It was a cold day of 66 but beautiful.

Juan being silly at the mall. We tried on several hats to kill time and just have fun. This is Juan's getting ready to be done with school.

The boys being silly and tough all at once. It was a great trip and toooo toooo fast.

Our whole day at The Happiest Place on Earth, 8:23am till 10:00 pm or so. A long day but a fun day. Disneyland does need more than one day. But we all had fun and did as much as we could. The kids were asking to go home because they were so tired.

Before the day got too long we posed in front of the famous castle.
Carson, Michelle,Carlos, Michaela, Allysa, and Juan.

Michaela, Allysa, Carson and Carlos trying to get the sword out of the stone.

The kids doing the conga in the parade at Disneyland. They were ask to come join in and dance. They all did it. I'm so proud none were shy. Michaela said she made them all come.

Carson was the brave one and jumped into Grandpas pool first. It was a about 70 degrees on a 70 degree day. cold I thought. But they had to swim.

Our day at the zoo. We picked a perfect day and we enjoyed the whole day. We had great fun getting to know Jocelyn and Jody was so great to be with us the whole week. Tate joined us two days and we were glad he could come and have fun with us.

The kids posed at every statue to get great pictures and to sit. We walked a ton on this vacation. The kids got hungry and drank tons of water from all that walking. They were great and helped out and had fun with Jocelyn.
In front of the new Elephant sanctuary. It was great and the elephants have much more room and look to enjoy their new home.

Of course Michaela was her silly self and gave this statue of the gorilla a great big kiss.

Another pose on a great big turtle. Jody and I talked about how we remember riding on turtles and the elephants at the zoo when we were young. To bad they don't do that anymore.

A great picture of Jocelyn at the beach.

The gang playing 500 and having a great time at La Jolla Beach.

Carlos after Jody and I covered him in the sand as a turtle. A tradition. We always have to make Jody's amazing turtle sculpture. Carlos loves it and just playing in the sand. Jocelyn and Carlos made a great team.

The brave few who went into the 59 degree ocean. Allysa went into the ocean for the first time and had a blast. It was cold but she wanted to swim in the ocean. SALTY!!!!

Jocelyn at Aunty Lee's home. Of course what would a trip to California be if we didn't stop off at Aunt Lees. Michaela was most excited to see Aubry and Cayden She wanted to swim and get some tangerines for her fix for the month. She loves you Aunt Lee and wished we were a little closer to steal those great fruits of your labor. Thank you!!!!

Carson and Carlos loving the pool and the great weather.

Michaela jumping right into the pool. She loves to swim and can't get enough of it. No matter how cold she loves the water, sun and beach.

Allysa and Michaela in Aunt Lee's double headed shower. Her home is great and they have done great updates to their home. The kitchen is to die for. Sorry no picture this trip.

Eating dinner at Jody's home. We made taco's and just hung out and played games. Jody and Tate are the best. They really know how to keep kids happy and entertained with the simplest things. Love you Both!!!!

Playing games after a great day at the beach and Aunt Lee's. We had a blast and can't wait for the next visit. We may adventure to Virgina this summer. We will see. What's a few more hours after Dallas at Christmas and San Diego at Spring break. 38 hours isn't that much, is it?

Coming home we hit a few snow storms and wanted to turn around and head back to California for their great weather.......but....... We had some who were ready for home and a mom, brad, dad, and brother who missed their daughter and sister waiting for Allysa's arrival. Allysa, We loved you on the trip. You were great fun and we hope you enjoyed the trip. We would take you anywhere. It was great to share this spring break with you. We are home and sad we have to get back into the routine of things again. We are so ready for summer and spring to get here. Will it ever? Yes I see some flowers making their way up and that means school will be out soon and time to enjoy those long days and the sun. We had fun and loved the trip. Thanks Grandpa, Grandma, Jody, Tate, Jocelyn, Dale, Lee, Bonnie, Aubry, and Cayden for all the fun and great food and beds to sleep in. We had a wonderful time. Thanks!!!!!!!

Carson at his last pinewood derby

Carson next to his car. Once you weigh them in you can not touch them, hence, Carson posing by the table.
Carson getting some awards. He loves scouts and a pretty decorated scout. Notice his shirt all decorated with patches and pins. The most in his pack.

Carson putting his car on the track. Juan was the track starter handler.

Carson posing with his award. He took second. We are so proud of him. He made his car too and painted it all by himself.
